..is the Organizer and CEO of CareLink of Georgia. CareLink is a Non-Profit Corporation that exists to provide a connection to Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) treatment services for patients who cannot afford services. As well, CareLink educates vital stakeholders about MOUD.
As a registered Pharmacist in Georgia,she has a wealth of clinical and business knowledge. In 2021, Kimberly received the DBHDD Award of Excellence for her work in the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) patients. Before that, she was employed by Eckerd drugs for many years where she served as a member of the Pharmacy Speakers Bureau, Eckerd’s Corporate Initiatives Representative and Pharmacy District Manager. While at Eckerd, she served as a member of the Georgia Drug Utilization Review Board. Later, Kimberly worked as a Pharmacy and Durable Medical Equipment Auditor for Xerox Corporation. where she audited claims for major health insurance companies such as, Aetna,Blue Cross Blue Shield,and Humana.
Kimberly illuminates her passion for patients and has spent more than twenty-five years serving the OUD patient population. During which time,she has been a member of Opioid Treatment Providers of Georgia (OTPG) and has served as its treasurer and now as of 2024, its President.
Finally, she is the owner of two Georgia Opioid Treatment Programs: New Horizons Treatment Center in Floyd County, Rome Georgia and Harbor Springs Counseling Services in Cobb County, Austell Georgia.
